My name is Mike, and for a day-job I work for Stardock. In the time I’ve worked for Stardock, I’ve been the publisher for WinCustomize, JoeUser, PoliticalMachine and ImpulseDriven. Currently I am working as publisher support for Impulse, Stardock’s digital distribution platform, and am helping with design and implementation of Impulse Builder, a tool to allow any 3rd party developer or publisher to load their software to be sold and distributed via Impulse.
It’s one of the most challenging, varied and rewarding jobs I’ve ever worked. There’s a lot to be said for seeing what it’s like from the other side of a website. Stardock is based in Plymouth, MI. We make desktop enhancement software, design professional desktop themes for organizations such as NCAA Colleges, The National Hockey League, as well as develop and publish award-winning PC strategy games. I get to be involved in just about all of it. To say it’s exciting would be an understatement.
When I’m not working with publishers & developers to get their games and applications out onto the Impulse platform, I contribute to game projects here at Stardock. Over the last few years I’ve been involved with the following games:
